These rutilated quartz cabochon and diamond earrings are hand selected and matched to create this beautiful earring pair. The gemstones are individually set in 18 karat white gold and accented with diamonds.

Every single gemstone is unique and different than the next. Rutile needles (composed of titanium oxide) form inside quartz crystals growing in the Earth and are then called rutilated quartz.

Quartz is known for it’s piezoelectric properties which cause it able to have an electric charge. Quartz is able to conduct an electrical charge because of its precise crystalline nature.
